I enjoyed the concert very much - an excellent one (am a sanjay fan). Hearing MR Gopinath after a long... time - excellent violin support. Good support from all the accompanists.

Indeed a notable concert. I need to mention that
1. O raghava snagathis were there instead of the usual chinta...,
for swaras (Chinta ... was prefixed with sa ri ga to make it more meaningful
2. The thodi alapana had prayaogams for some time and flashed sindhu bairavi .
3. The back to back singing of songs in the same raga (from sanjay) is now the style to stay, and a very nice feel.

I felt that the singer too enjoyed this performance with many musicians listening to him. A couple of days later while seated for an another performance two oldies were talking that Sanjay was different and that his performance was asadyaa.I felt the same.

It was an enjoyable concert. I really liked his "Chintamani" raga alapana in addition to many other items. I think,very few can attempt to do this raga alapana.
