I attended the first 2 hours of the concert , till the beginning of tani and this is my second concert of them, the first I attended few years back.

Few Pluses:

1. Vidwath is definitely there.

2. The day's best was their pallavi , well done , ganesh was singing alApanai and sashi was singing the tAnam , the pallavi was complete in trikalam and the swaras were in jaganmOhini and a rare guhaManOhari by sashi, the violinist was not comfortable playing this rare raga, so he played hindOlam and then ganesh took over in swaras in hindolam and they wrapped it in reverse. For pallavi this concert was worth it.

3. Tjr murugabhoopathy lifted this concert and played very well, among all present he was the pick for me.

4. Gopinath was not so aeasthetic in vanaspathi but in pallavi his play was superb , nice nAdham

5. When comparing this concert with the last one I attended I would say ganesh has improved a lot , his voice has more emote than before

Few Minuses:

1. Volume volume volume especially before the pallavi almost all krithis it was excessively loud.I sat at more than one place in this L shaped hall but it was still very loud

2. Modulation can be little more better , the aesthetic kuyavu was bit missing

3. I would say this point is bit major when compared to other two. If you hear say malladi,r-g sisters and even veterans like rudrapatnam, to a great extent when two sings there is a significantly much more cohesion than these brothers. To an extent when both are singing together,I am not getting a cohesive music from these brothers. Would be nice if they work on this cohesiveness, one brother sashi has a deep male voice and the other little soft should work together in getting more musical cohesion .Aesthetics is lost significantly because of non blending.

OVerall a good to very good concert. I only listened till the beginning of tani

The rare ragam was Guhamanohari, not Kripamanohari. M.R. Gopinath sir played Hindolam because the Brothers asked him to play a different ragam.
