Hyderabad concerts

I see that there are some concerts in the offing at Hyderabad at Ravindra Bharati and Key's High School. It is especially heartening to see good representation of artists from Andhra Pradesh in them (Vizianagaram D Vardhini, Sri Malladi Suribabu, Hyderabad Sisters Vidushis Lalitha and Haripriya), and of course, also to see Vidushi R Vedavalli. Hope to see many nice reviews from revanth (?) and others.

In the case of one of these sabhas at least, I know that this was a conscious decision to showcase local (i.e., Andhra) talent a little more than in the past. Also, not sure if this has been widely publicized yet, but Smt. Vedavalli is being conferred the title of "Sangeetha Kalasagara" on the day of her concert.

The 44th Annual Festival of Kalasagaram started yesterday, here at secunderabad..
I have been enjoying ..
This time atleast, in the first two concerts, the artistes rendered an RTP- yesterday 26th Nov., Secunderabad sisters sang in Bhava-laden Bageshri, while today the Priya sisters sang in Natabhairavi... ..
I just wanted to share my excitement..Hope this trend comtinues...

Tomorrow the 28th, there is a felicitation for Sangeetha Kalanidhi. Smt. R. Vedavalli garu followed by her concert..

And the Natabhairavi Pallavi was different and extra ordinary. I shall give a detail report of this
concert tomorrow It feels so good listening to such nice concerts here in Hyderabad. Cant wait for Vedavalli amma's concert!!
