What I heard was that the theme was "Adum Deivam" about various dancing gods/goddesses. I am sure AS would have also had a divine moment (or two)!

My wife attended this. Her views are:

There was a near stampede and even could not sit outside where closed circuit TV installed
She took Ganapathi, Krishna and Shiva kritis as they qualify for the topic- Dancing Gods. (aadum deivam)
The kritis remembered were..

Ganapathi - Ganapati pappa moria...mangal moorthy moria.
Krishnan - muthukrishna memudham - Chenchurutti..
Shivan - aAnanda natanam aAdinar- kAmbodhi
Shivan- kapAli-Mohanam

Where TNS concert at Petachi was half-full on that day, AS concert was double-full. That is the POWER of AS. There are few advantages for attending Jaya TV programme. If you are lucky, you will be shown on the TV or you can speak after the programme (Excellant programme, I have never seen AS singing so well, it was electrifying,... sort of adjectives) or Your questions may be asked with a prize, above all, it is FREE.

A few years back, I called into a radio show whose topic was the decline in number of people believing in traditional religion. I was trying to stir it up a bit and offered the opinion in a light-hearted way 'The reason is God has a PR problem. God is not fun. God gets angry and causes major catastrophes if He does not get his way'. The guest, who was a religious scholar said, that is not always the case, the Hindu God Krishna is a lot of fun, He plays sweet music, He dances around etc. Great to see a fun theme by Smt. Aruna Sairam 'Adum Deivam'
