An excellent list.It is very difficult to attend morning concerts on week days.I am yet to hear her in person.Hope I get a chance soon.

Did AIR record the concert? I attended a concert of hers in the bay area - enjoyed it very very much. Her repertoire is amazing. MA has done itself proud by awarding the SKA this year.

'Anantapadmanabham Aasrayey' - a grand old composition almost recognised as the 'State Song' (in praise of the presiding deity of Travancore) used to be rendered as the prayer (invocation) in public functions. It was also sung in schools in the province. I had gathered the information from my parents (who also sang it).

I remember Parassala Ponnammal Mami singing it several years back.

Special pranaams to smt Rama Ravi for reviving the melody. I cudnt attend the concert and that's a real miss!

actually Rama mami sings this arabhi song pretty often (that is, somewhat often amongst her concerts, which have themselves become very rare!)
