Prakriti Foundation will be hosting an all night music, poetry and dance tribute to the tsunami victims as part of the Poetry with Prakriti Festival on 25th December 2011 at Spaces, No.1, Elliots Beach Road, Besant Nagar, Chennai from 8pm onwards. (Poster Below). The noble aim of the event is to pay homage to the victims of the tsunami disaster which struck in 2004.
The event will feature performances by Anil Srinivasan and Alarmel Valli, the Madras String Quartet, La Pongal, Vintage, Clarity in Confusion (CINC), Duality, Oxygen, Akatha Kahani and Aditya Prakash. The evening will also feature poetry readings by Chennai poets Dr. Prabhakar Thyagarajan, Sivagami Velliangiri and Sharanya Manivannan, featured poets from the past Poetry with Prakriti Festivals.
The event is completely free and open to the public.
