What a lovely concert to the packed rasikas!!!
Ritigowlai as sub main and elaborate"kamboji" as main followed by "Maa janaki" all had stamp of "jayashri".

The rtp in "Mand" was out standing.She did a tri raga rtp with "mand" as main and "yamuna kalyani" and "durga" as other two ragas.
The pallavi line was in tamil in praise of "saraswathi " or"kalaivani".
Rasikas would have definetly felt "kalai vani" in MFAS yesterday when smt."jayasri" presented this rtp.

Tukkadas are her usual "enna tavam"(KApi),Thamadam thagadaiya (mohana kalyani) and "thotu thotu(Behag).
She ended the concert with a beautiful"Vaasanti" tillana.

Arunodhayame - Lalgudi Varnam - Bowli and shankarineeve - begada - subbarAya sAstri. Her meditative touch was there in arunodhayame. you forgot to mention hN bhaskar and that super Patri satish kumar as mridangist

Haven't heard Jayashri sing Kamboji at all. Nice to see it on the list.
And could anyone say more about the RTP? I'm very apprehensive when 3 raagas are taken up. Did it feel like all 3 raagas were done full justice?

yea it was a pleasent experience.well planned concert and well excuted.kaamboji raaga aalaapanaa was very nice and sang the maa janaki beautifully.rtp in maand was very nice.in total it was a very nice one.

I also feel the same way.I think durga and yamuna kalyani were not taken up as seriously as maandu

I was also there for Sri.Girish's concert and then need to stand in the Q for Smt.Jayasri's concert.
How can i forget the superb support given by Sri.H.N.Bhaskar,Sri.Patri.Satishkumar( s he is super star)

s u r correct,maandu was elaborate,durga was brief and yamuna kalyani as passing cloud only.
but that wont take the credit of her work.A very good concert .
