Good one I liked it. I especially like aa-oon-na reference. In the historic past anything other than the hindu has not much content about margazhi, this one is as good or even better than the hindu.

Every year these articles come ... and every year we behave the same.

I recall one, a month or so back, which categorised the concert goers. Two categories I remember, because they are so true and they made me laugh: the lizard who "Tcha Tcha"s through every song (can he or she really speak the language of the gecko in their house?) and the other is the camper.

Why I remember the camper? Because that is me... equipped with my cushion to save my bony (not bonny!) backside from the plastic chair, my bag on the adjacent chair, my plastic box with sesame balls, my bottle of water. I have a torch, in case of blackouts. When the AC blows too hard I even disappear under my tent: a shawl, always carried in my bag. Sure, I'd bring a kerosene stove and brew up chai if I thought I could get away with it!

Enjoyed the article. I think I was approached by a son in law hunter who asked if I was learning music, what field I worked in, etc. I subtlety mentioned I had two children and then the questioning changed to mundane topics!

I liked this one..

"What's your nakshatram? Swathi, Rohini and Magham won't suit him."
"Oh. Rohini."

Ha... Mami gave away too much info that Nandini exploited!

Nandini thinks O.S. Arun sings a varnam. Now what category ( sub-genre ) does she belong to? ;)

That was a very funny article. But I'm guilty of the "Plchchchch!" a few times in concerts. :P
