A young upcoming Carnatic vocalist, Varun Kashyapy Ganesan, will be performing a full concert at the Thyagaraja aradhana in Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, Maryland on Jan 15 (Sun) at 6PM. If you live in the Maryland, DC or Northern Virginia area, please try to attend. I have heard this youngster in the U.S. as well as in Chennai during the DEcember season 2 years back. He is a very talented young man studying in MIT and with his studies load he still manages to practice rigorously.

I strongly urge folks in the D.C.area to attend the concert and write a review.

This lad needs and richly deserves all the support he can get.
