Can anyone please tell me a good costume tailor in Bangalore? Has Aiyyelu opened shop there? How long do they take to deliver the finished costume? Info on approximate stitiching charges will be appreciated.

I guess Aiyyelu's branch in B'lore is in charge of taking orders and the actual stitching is done in Chennai. I am not too sure of this...one of my students who is going to b'lore this summer is going to try this one...I will let you know if it all works well
. Meantime, you can try Arumugam ...I always get mine stitched there and he does an excellent job! I am sorry I don't have his contact info at the moment, but I can try getting it to you.

Yes, Arumugam does a neat job! and Ayyelu's son actually took the order from one of my students this summer and he delivered it promptly even though the stitching is done in chennai.

Sorry this response is so late. But, Arumugam is still very much in Bangalore & does stitch Bharatanatyam costumes. His number is 94488-87157.
