Is Embar Kasturi a descendant of Sri. Vijayaraghavachari?

And it takes place close to where divya prabandham-lover Bharathi used to walk the beach! His spirit may be felt there for all I know, though the old Ice House now houses the Metro Water Pumping station

Not quite. Ice House exists as a building/museum and has been renamed Vivekanandar Illam to commemorate the fact that Sri Vivekananda stayed there during his trip to Madras.

"Ice House Metro Water Pumping Station" merely means that the pumping station is close to Ice House and not that it physically occupies the Ice House.

Ice House, used to store ice brought in from North America, was bought and remodelled as a residential building.

There is the Ice House Mosque in Trplicane. Again, the prefix "Ice House" serves as a guide to locate it only.

Yes. Now I remember. My son did say that he went to see the Vivekananda Illam years ago and mentioned the Ice House then. Earlier, it used to be part of the school complex of Lady Wellington. Ice House Rd was there, so was Kolamani Amman temple.
