Unfortunately, I didn't record the concert. Regarding the organization name, I would have loved to write it the way you did, but the organizers themselves mention it as "Irai Pani Mandram". So thought let me keep it that way.

I merely asked to make sure I got the name (and meaning) of the organization right.
So, the meaning was as I guessed it to be: iRai paNi meaning bhaktha and manRam being sabhA. Hope the paNi was not pronounced as pani when it was announced. irai pani to me conjures up the image of scattered snow

ragaram (which in old tamizh means 'ra') seems to pose the present generation quite a challenge! That's why the transliterated spelling, which differentiates the r-s, n-s and l-s come to the rescue. Tamizh is such a rich language but as other mozhi folks remind us, the differences between ra and Ra, la and La, na and Na and so on, when not read as they ought to be, bring in confusion.
A hundred examples can be given, but here are a few:

pari= kudirai paRi=snatch, pick

maNam=smell manam=heart, mind

puli= tiger puLi=tamarind

BTW, I recall that Pallavan buses used to bear the destination sign 'paNi manai'. They may still do. When I was little, I used to think it was actually a place until someone explained to me that it just means it is going to the service center

I will translate iRai paNi manRam ( God Service Sabha ) as a sabha that is dedicated to the services of God. The 'dedicated to' is not there but it is implied.

Your translation is good. 'bhakti paNNudal' is the paNi of bhakthAs, I understood. Somehow, when a deity's name is found in a sabha's name, bhakta gets added to it as a middle word at times. The sabhas share one abbreviated word at the end: (Regd)

After seeing jamakkALam (spread) after jamakkALam which cover the stage in many sabhAs during the season, I realized that most of them sported their names and the 'registered' sign in their borders! At one time, they needed to announce it on their notices that they were a registered institution I suppose, and the practice extended to the jamakkALams! I fancied if a popular jamakkALam weaver who got the order with the letter head, wove the word in as well, and it became a custom. You are discussing tradition (with concert format) in the other thread. Though I'm not competent enough to comment there, I'm just tickled to think that there could be some strict observances in today's performances which belong to the Regd in brackets category
