Re: GOVINDA SUNDARA MOHANA - DWIJAVANTI
There is a small error:
satisutulapai prEmarOsiti sam
tatamu *mIpe* BhAramuvEsiti
madilOna *mimiganula* jUDaga nenci
mIdayakepu Dedureduru jUciti[c1]
It is *mIpaI*
It is 'mimuganula'
{sorry for the typos}

Very good effort Amateur, congratulations.
sAranga hasta could mean Shiva, who holds the deer by name sAranga in his hand. The rAma mantra resides (nivAsa) on his lips (mukha) and hands (hasta) (perhaps as a book or a japamala)

Amateur, a very professional job! I'm impressed by your patience.
sAranga means a deer - I am not sure if the deer Siva holds (invoked by, and thrown at him by the 3000 dIkshitas of cidambaram along with the snake, the battle axe and the evil muyalakan, when he came to teach them a lesson) was named sAranga in addition.
Siva is sArangapANi/sArangahasta, while vishNu is SArngapANi (bearer of the bow SArngam) which gets corrupted to sArangapANi or sArangan in colloquial usage.

Re: GOVINDA SUNDARA MOHANA - DWIJAVANTI
Thanks to all for the clarification of some of the points.
Both Saranga and Saranga hasta mean Shiva. It is the second hasta that was not very obvious.
A bit of search shows the following in the website
http://www.dlshq.org/religions/siva.htm
saranga hasta mukha hasta nivasa will mean the mantra that resides in the mouth & hands of Lord Shiva.

given the fact that Rama mantra is referred to as praNava nilaya hasta nivasa also can be explained as above.Lord Siva wears a deer in the left upper hand. He has Trident in the right lower arm. He has fire and Damaru and Malu or a kind of weapon. He wears five serpents as ornaments. He wears a garland of skulls. He is pressing with His feet the demon Muyalaka, a dwarf holding a cobra. He faces south. Panchakshara itself is His body.
His Trisul that is held in His right hand represents the three Gunas—Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. That is the emblem of sovereignty. He rules the world through these three Gunas. The Damaru in His left hand represents the Sabda Brahman. It represents OM from which all languages are formed . It is He who formed the Sanskrit language out of the Damaru sound.
saranga hasta mukha hasta nivasa will mean the mantra that resides in the mouth & hands of Lord Shiva.

Muthuswami Dikshitar also has used Sarangadhara in many places in praise of Shiva, especially where the raga Saranga is used.
