Hyderabad Brothers conferred the Kala Ratna award

I came to know that a week ago the Hyderabad Brothers, Sri D. Sesha Chary and Sri D. Raghava Chary were conferred The Kala Ratna award for this year. This is an award conferred by the government of Andhra Pradesh on eminent Telugu achievers. The awards were given away by the Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. I think it is the equivalent of Kalai maamani awards in Tamil Nadu. It is nice to know that governments take note of, acknowledge and honour the contribution that art and artists make toward the society.

My congratulations to the Hyderabad brothers for being honoured with this award.
