3. Nannu Vidachi - ReethiGowla - T
4. Tatvameruga - Garudadhwani - T
5. Intha sowkya - kapi - T (RNS)
6. Thani
7. Matada baradeno - Khamas - ND
8. Krishna Nee Begane - YamunaKalyani - VT
9. Thillana - Poorvi - TSB
10. Mangalam
This is the first time I hearing him live.
I had to brave the traffic and impending rain to go this concert.
Most of them are usual KVN items.
It was an ok concert.
Poorvi kalyani alapana was hurried, though Sunderesan played it better.
Kapi was sung leisurely. His khamas and yamuna kalyani were good.
Thani was very good. One part of the concert there was some briskness.
Very slow paced sober concert.
I cannot clearly hear the words of most of the songs.
Half the time he sings looking at the sky, so those words are definitely lost.

He is a very dedicated artist. The recordings may be OK to listen to. But in a live concert you have problems.
Hope you were seated far away. A close up view of the contortions may not be a pleasant experience. No offence meant. Every artist has his own individuality. Skyward looking might have been a saving grace. I have heard him a couple of times live. KVN's crispness in presentations is definitely missing.

I would term the review name as " Lost Opportunity @ SRSM"
It was for the first time he had a 3 hr concert opportunity in RSM and he did miss out in making a better impact on audience and organisers.
Most of the kritis were heard earlier from him in various other sabhas and i was expecting a different concert with a good RTP. It did not happen so.
Even i left the hall with the same feeling as ranjanimalavi. I may stop attending his concerts if he continues to repeat the kritis ..
The opening item in the concert was Mohana varna

You need a telescope to look at the artist when you pay Rs 100 for the ticket.
I don't think location matters that much.
I had absolutely no problem listening to Sanjay two weeks back.
Also I am not coming here for the first time.
I will listen to him when he sings close by.

It was a great concert, with full of divinity - specially Kaapi - Intha sowkhya was really presented in a completely different way with great support from MAS. With regard to seating and hearing I do not see any problem this time. Very happy with the sound system and speakers location.
