Lord Krishna of holy ARanmuLa temple, when I stay watching your lovely holy face, I forget myself,my sorrows and everything.
The mercy in your eye is enough for those who are traped in sorrow. your fragrant smile is enough to chill even in the flaming heat.
the (temple)compound of ARanmuLa should shine as the gOkulam in my memmory. The beautiful black idol of the temple should be seen in my inner mind.
ARanmula is a place in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala(This place is also famaous for mirror made of a special mixure of matals),Omal=lovely,kaNi=seeing a person/thing first when one wakes in tha morning, enne=me,maRakkunnu=forget, ellAm=all, everything, kara=land,'kara kayaRuka' is a phrase meaning escape, aviDuthe=your(respectful addresssing), mati=enough,eriyunna=flaming,teey=fire,kulir=coldness,naRu=fresh/fragrant,chiri=smile/laughter,matilakam=compound-especially of a temple or palace,gOkulam=settlement of cows and shepereds,ORma =memmory,teLiyuka=appear/shine,SyAmaLa=black,kOmala=lovely/beautiful,vigraham=idol (of a diety),akatAr=inner mind

Thanks for providing the meaning of this lovely song, Palloorkar.

jgdvk, tiruvaranmula is one of the 108 Srivaishnava divya desams, sung by nammazhvar (~ 9th c.) as tiru ARan viLai in ten verses which are available here (in Roman script).

...the verses describe the beauty of the place, such as it being surrounded by water bodies, orchards and paddy & sugarcane fields, and having long fortified walls.
