Here is Bhogeendra Sayinam from that concert, with lovely kalpana swarams at a very interesting edam (apparently inspired by Sanjay Subrahmanyan, who is in the audience).

Akkarai's accompaniment is superb! Such confidence she plays with at her age, and then some.

BTW, does anyone know who the tamboora artiste in the above video? I have seen him in several of Pr.Rama Varma's performances, esp at the Swathi festival and Kuthiramalika.

I love his blissful smile and involvement in the music; it appears that he is a man of high aesthetic sensibilities (if he is not a musician himself i.e.). Would love to know more about him.

The person playing the Tambura is Ananthapadmanabhan He is a musician himself and performs too.He is a student of Prof.Venkataramanan.
