Re: Tribute to Madurai Mani Iyer
My best wishes to young Aishu and family. She has a pure tonality and firm grasp of tempo.
As she learns from the masters, she will also progress in the dimension of 'gayaki' or vocalisation that is the hallmark of violin excellence in Carnatic music.
PS: The flash streams needed the Photon Browser on my iPad. Still the screen was cropped a bit.
The English note was composed by Muthiah Bhagavathar and made famous by Madurai Mani.

Aishu, Very nice rendition of HMB' s English note. I really liked your website and enjoyed the glowing tribute about your GURU Shri SRJanakiraman. If everything you say about your guru is true then you are really blessed.
Keep up the good work....

Very nice. BTW, hope to listen to few concerts of Aishu as an accompaniment during the upcoming music season.

When Aishu played solo with vellore shri ramabadran way back @ 2008 , she told "Her Guru instructed her to be a good soloist and then start playing as an accompanist". I guess the time has already come , I am sure she will be sought out by all fellow vocalists.
