The vocal strength was little tame with the first shanmughapriya and the second atAna. The emotive sAma gave a good late start. The varAli was good. The kalkaDa was very fitting to navathri theme and she sang very well. Her elaborate kAmbOdhi rAga alapanai was the best in the concert. The main krithi was sung very well , but however her voice strength dipped considerably in the neraval and swaram of the main.
The popular enna solli was delivered well. The viruttam was nice , with her start in bilahari(had kAmbodhi traces too??)??? . The sindhubhairavi and behAg was rendered well . The surprise fast number was the mahakavi subramania bharathi's number, it was my first experience and I enjoyed it . The solkham and bhajan was very good and the senchurutti was excellent. The tillana was just ok.
Pakkala ramadas nAdham lacks considerable azhuttam , it seemed no different today. Mridangam support was just ok. Overall the concert,rather the temple had two very interesting discrete pakkavAdyam artists, Shri Boeing and Smt Airbus flying every 15 minutes once and screwing everything. One has to give a lot of credit to the team to recoup their thoughts.

Item 11 is "Vedi Padum" (oozhikootu) in mOhanam. It's an item that she's popularised in her concerts - perhaps her trademark krithi.
She usually sings items 5 and 8 very well, so no surprises there either.
I like the fact she's taken up a greater number of Thamizh items in her kutcheri, but I'm more intrigued by the kambhoji piece, and the varAli piece - the same one I happened to be thinking of yesterday.
