Why there is dearth of rendition of thillanas in thodi ragam..
I could lay my hands only two thillanas in that ragam...with much difficulty
poochi srinivasa iyengar's compostion sung by bombay sisters and another tillana by sowmya....
are there any specific reason...

thodi has been used extensively in other forms krithis, varnams, etc. For me it is suited better for slower compositions where the rich gamakas can be showcased. This could be the reason there are few tillanas in this raga.
