Here is my attempt at the meaning. Lji - please note numerous small corrections.
The anupallavi was particularly trying. For instance, kAmEvum malarinil could also mean 'in a flower (malarinil) where sarasvati (kA) dwells (mEvum)', but it did not appear to make contextual sense. As always, corrections and comments welcome:

Oh mother (annaiyE), a streak of golden light (oLi porundum ponnE) who dwells (vaLarum) upon (mEl) a beautiful (Sezhum) lotus (kamala) flower (pU), please protect (rakshippAi) me (ennaiyE)!

Some minor corrections that came to mind -
kA means a garden or forest ( as in poon-gA)
(kAn and kAnagam mean the same too )
Also "miga" would be 'very much', not 'forever'
