For the first time in North America, presented by Kalashri School Of Arts, Sri T.M.Krishna and Smt. Priyadarsini Govind will perform together on September 22, 2012 at 5 pm at North Brunswick High School, 98 Raider Road, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
They will be accompanied by Sri SriramKumar(violin); Sri Manoj Siva(mridangam); Sri Balakrishnan(nattuvangam); Sri Vedakrishnan(mridangam) and Murugan(lighting).

Folks,
just came back from witnessing Ms. Priyadarshini Govind dance to a brilliantly choreographed Purvi Tillana NiRiNiRiGaMaGaRiSa at BVB Blr. It’s a difficult piece made famous by KVN and MDR.
The choreography introduced brilliant mridangam syncopated responses to each rhytmic phrase to which she danced very beautifully combining her expressiveness with precise nritta.

PS :She danced to recorded music and the rest of her performance was not in the same league as her tillana.
PPS : this program had nothing to do with the forthcoming NJ event, i just wanted to add this report under the topic since the danseuse performed in Blr.

The NJ program and DC programs of Sri T.M.Krishna and Smt. Priyadarsini Govind are live performances. Since the intent is to make music and dance, visual and aural respectively and simultaneously, I believe that the items and presentation have been choreographed towards that end.

Very good VPR, I can see the wonderful possibilities between these two artistes, both very emotive and aesthetically appealing.
