Re: need clarification for the meaning of sharanu siddivinay
Rekha-ji,
My research tells me that Ganesha holds a sugarcane bow in one hand symbolising his conquest over 'Kama' I.e. Manmatha who shoots arrows from his sugarcane bow to make people yield to the attractions of the opposite sex or carnal temptation. That is what is implied here- as one who has won over 'Kama'

A small correction:
It is 'lambOdarane'.
It is 'lambOdarane'.
