S Rajam DVD Release - All are invited

Lalitha Ram ("gamakam" on the forum) has produced a DVD on S. Rajam along with Sri. S.B.Khanthan.

Swathi's Sanskriti Series are publishing it, and it is due to be released at Tatvaloka Hall in Chennai (Eldams Road) on November 11th.

Please find the invitation below. All are welcome.

I always felt to popularize CM to the present masses we need a movie like a shankarabharanam or sindhubhairavi, in the last decade there is not even one that has come about. Now i see you are pairing with SB Kanthan (who is the son of TS Balakrishna sastrigal) as a director. From a writer who interestingly collects anecdotes and publishes books like what you did on GNB and PSP, you are now graduating to a DIRECTOR. That is exemplary. Next in your project should be a movie like shankarabharanam or sindhubhairavi.

Thanks for your kind words. I must say, I have no plan to be a commercial movie director though Ventures like this one give me a opportunity to throw light on self-effacing geniuses. I hope I could do more of such works.

Composed in the lovely Raga Gamanasrama, - the song is flawlessly rendered by Adithi Devarajan I fell in love with this rendition from the day I heard it. The lyrics are tuned with utmost sensitivity by friend Murali Venkatraman
