Clue: the photo of Balachander is by error mirror-inverted, see the way the watch is shown! ( Schade, the LP was produced where they thought the could do the switch!)

There is a person, Suvir Mishra, who actually plays the Rudra veena left-handed (plucking with the left hand). Here is a video of him playing Hindustani music on the Saraswati veena adapted to his requirements. (The video only works for the first 8 minutes - but it's enough to see how he plays)

Thank you! Suvir is indeed a brave one to venture forth and get the feft-handed instrument.
I have wondered about the possibilities and issues of left-handed musicians dealing with instruments like the veena, sitar, violin, etc., which are rarely if ever produced/constructed in left-handed design.
