Before the concert there was a function on Carnatic Music in USA in which many persons spoke including SriVKV, Sri VVS, Sri Flute Ramani, Sri Chitravina Ravikiran, Sri N Murali, Smt Sundaram, Sri Udayshankar and American Consul General.
It was a full house for Aishwarya's concert in front of many musicians and rasikas. She was able to bring back memories of MS. She has a very melodious and sruti aligned voice which can travel 3 octaves without strain.
Her Thodi Alapanai was extraordinary.
In coming years with more training, experience and practice she will be one of the top artists.
Dr Narmadha and Dr T K Murthy supported Aishwarya very closely and with great enthusiasm.

Yes. It was a very good c0ncert. The ambience, selection, rendering of songs brought back memories of attending many MS concerts in the 80s. Many vidwans like TRS, Ravikiran,. Guruvayur Dorai and the accompanists blessed Aishwarya for a great future. The training being given by her grandmother though bedridden, coupled with her hard work will take her to great heights. It was a very memorable moment for me personally as I could meet Radha Mami and get her blessings and the many events in MS life shared by Mr.Sreenivasan (Cienu) while dropping me back will be be cherished by me for long.

My favorite was Chintamani. Aishwarya displayed a superb command of the kaalapramanam in this piece. Also, Aishwarya is one of those rare singers who strives for perfection "in every note", no longer a cliche. Wishing her the very best and looking forward to her musical career. And kudos to her gentle parents for letting her blossom in her own terms. Apparently she is also a great sportsperson.

I am sorry that, this time, I missed Aishwarya. However, as an up and coming young artist, I don't doubt that the opportunities will increase as time goes by.

R K Srikantan, at RS Hall, was just amazing. I am completely bowled over by his musicality, energy and stamina (and, as a much younger man, put to shame by it as well). It was a superb concert, but I'm sorry I cannot give more than a brief subjective report.
