My new camera at work

Close up.

It was an excellent concert. I noticed (heard) and enjoyed the effortless sruti bedham in Thodi - sometimes a struggle even for senior musicians. Powerful voice. Never a lapse in sruti.

Yes, there was. Too short though, many would have missed it... and was it to Kalyani ?

Yes. It was kalyani. a beauty.
It seems Sri.GNB, who is the father of sruti bedham, used to say that you should gently slide into the other ragam and when people wake up and try to assimilate the change, you should quickly return to the original ragam, keeping the audience yearning for more - this is as narrated by his disciple Sri.Trichur Ramachandran during the GNB centenary concert at unnati.
Shertallai Dr.Sharma really demonstrated it. Amazing.
