She restricts the duration to 2.30 hours (looked very crisp when compared with the long concert of Sanjay at BGS). The concert was very good – including the mighty Hamir Kalyani RTP. Fellow rasikas: Pl provide kriti / Raga list. There seem to be communication gaps with the mridangist – when to start Thani (already the mridangam seem to be tuned many times In between). Also the artist started Sujana Jeevana immediately after Thani – which was not noticed /anticipated by the mridangist for a short duration – then he started accompanying her. Too many Syama Sastri kritihis. Was longing for at least one Dikshitar krithi – which never came up. Koteeswara Iyer’s Komalam song was good.
