I didn't have the time to look at this thread again (with your post) to see the starting time. I took it to be 10-30 and ended up late at the venue

What a great rishabhapriya (etc) pallavi it turned out to be! Neela's music always draws me in--I'm carried away by her rich imagination which has been nurtured by years and years of training and internalizing--and of course, by her love for her art. I can't think of anyone else in her age group who brings such liveliness and freshness to each performance. Her repertoire is vast. She is a modernist among seniors--bold and adventurous, buoyed by the tremendous training she has put herself through.

Waiting for Hari and Anusha to come up with the song list and reviews.

You seem to be taking in more concerts in freezing Canada than many of us who are present in Chennai mA nagaram

Yes, Balaji's kuDumi (pony) suits him very well.
His playing was as sensitive and pleasing as always.

Ganesh Prasad on the violin added to the quality of the concert.

Sappri's daughter Priyanka Prakash (Neela's student) did a good job of giving vocal support here and there.
