The 2 grand old men enjoyed playing together and Sri VVSspoke a few words on many things, after every other song. Murari's support was exemplary - solid, beautiful and understated.
Although the hall was full to begin with, the Mylapore crowds walked in and out as they pleased, as usual.

Yes, he has composed a few varNams and other pieces too.
I recently heard one in Varamu/hindOLakAmini when he played in Toronto. Lji would know more for sure.
