We, the Musicians of Trichy welcome you all to the grand event of celebrating the Music, Musicians, Students and Rasikas of Trichy - Vaibhav - 2013.
A brief note on the group - "Trichy Carnatic Musicians" :
The group “Trichy Carnatic Musicians” was started in the Social networking site Facebook with the motive of connecting the Carnatic Musicians in the Cauvery delta and also to serve as an interactive forum. Since its inception on 20th January 2010, the organization has grown now with around 100 members.This group comprises of members of all ages irrespective of their achievement in the field of Carnatic Music. The members are Musicians who have made outstanding contribution to the world of arts and made the soil of Trichy Proud. Started by a Youth Group, TCM has now transcended Age, Schools of Music and Experience of the Vidhwans and acts today as a forum of Learning and Sharing. Several special features including “Dinam Oru Thiruppavai”, “Nadopasakas” add color to the group. Healthy discussion on Musical Aspects also take place. Concert Reports across the Cauvery Delta keep all the Members informed of the happenings in the city.
With a wider perspect, the budding artistes of Trichy have organized with the help of the Seniors, an annual meet which will be attended by all Carnatic enthusiasts of Trichy and nearby areas.

[*] Veteran Pallavi Exponent Sri J Venkataraman will be honoured with the "TCM Life Time Achievement Award".
[*] A Lec-dem on the Handling of Melakartha Ragas will be presented by Vidhwan Sri T K V Ramanujacharlu.
[*] A Carnatic Quiz will be conducted.
[*] A Grand "Veena - Venu - Violin" Concert will mark the Summit of the day's events.
