I believe he is a disciple of Vidushi T.S. Satyavati. Perhaps Keerthi (and/or others) could confirm.

Yes, Maruti Prasad is Dr T S Sathyavati's disciple

Tx sreeni , indeed a very nice interview. I remember the kaLLanAri riti krithi that was discussed long time back.To be self taught even in keyboard is kind of an extraordinary miracle.
