P:YOU are the source, you are the refuge, please save me with affection/love
A:"Love" burns in me like mirage, crying incessantly I surrender unto you, my lord
Oh, one with the lusture of full moon, how can you test me, I trusted in you, is it fair
to ignore me, my lord ? I see no means of cooling my passion, what can I say,
I suffer from the arrows of Cupid
C: Oh beautiful one, is it fair for you to betray/tease me, it doesn't become you
1: I hoped that you are my refuge, how can you still delay?
2: I don't care for the cukoo's music, peacock's dance nor the cool southern breeze
I am waiting for your arrival, do come without fail
3: Oh kaNNA, I am suffering with passion in lonliness
I am still wide awake, days and nights, my lord
look at me once, listen to my words, I am hurting ,my love
Do come and give me safety and happiness, without letting me down
this is the right time krSNa for you to bless me, your dveotee, maNivaNNA.

As requested by RMurthy, here is my attempt at the padArtha of this varNam

pallavi
AdhAram nIyE aDaikkalam nIyE anbuDan ennai AdarippAyE

You alone (nIyE) are the basis (AdhAram), and you alone are my refuge (aDaikkalam). Please protect (AdaraippAyE) me (ennai) with (uDan) love (anbu)!

anupallavi
kAnal nIr pOl kAdal vATTuginradu kadari kadari sharaN aDaiginrEn svAmi

Love (kAdal) is torturing (vATTuginradu) like (pOl) the water/waves (nIr) by the sea-shore [1]. (Therefore), I cry out in pain/grief (kadari kadari) and seek (aDaiginrEn) refuge (SaraN) in you, my lord (svAmI)!

muktAyisvara sAhityam
candrakAntamAna rUpam uDaiyavanE ennai shOdikkalAmA unnai nambi vandEn en mEl parAmukham
koLvadu muraiyA endan svAmi tApam agala vazhi illai manmatha bANattAl avadip-paDugirEn enna sheivEn

One who possesses (uDaiyavanE) a form (rUpam) that is as beautiful (kAntamAna) as the moon (candra), it is right for you to test (SOdikkalAmA) me (ennai) so? I have come (vandEn) here having believed (nambi) in you (unnai), is it appropriate (muRaiyA) for you to practice (koLvadu) such neglect (pArAmukham) [2] on (mEl) me (en), my (endan) lord (svAmI)? I am suffering (avadi paDugirEn) from the arrows (bANattAl) of manmatha, and there doesn’t (illai) seem to be a way (vazhi) for my distress (tApam) to dissipate (agala), what (enna) am I to do (SeivEn)?

caraNa sAhityam
azhaganE EmATruvadu nAyamA idu unakku tagumA

Oh handsome one (azhaganE), is it fair (nyAyamA) for you to deceive (EmATRuvadu) me? Is this (idu) (behaviour) worthy (tagumA) of you (unakku)?

caraNa svara sAhityam 1
tanjam enru nambinEn tAmadam sheyyalAmA

I have always believed (nambinEn) that (enru) you are my refuge (tanjam), how can you create (SeyyalAmA) such a delay (tAmadam)?

caraNa svara sAhityam 2
kuyil kUvuvadum mayil ADuvadum tenral vIsuvadum vENDAmE
nI varuvAi enru kAttirukkinrEn mOsam sheyyAdu vandu sEruvAi

I do not want (vENDAmE) (to hear) the cooing (kUvuvadum) of the cuckoo (kuyil), (or see) the dancing (ADuvadum) of the peacock (mayil), (or feel) the blowing (vISuvadum) of the gentle breeze (tenral). I am waiting (kAttirukkirEn) in the belief that (enru) you (nI) will come (varuvAi), so, please come (vandu) and unite (sEruvAi) with me, without resorting (SeyyAdu) to treachery (mOsam).

caraNa svara sAhityam 3
kaNNA kAdaluDan kAttirukkinrEn tanimai tanilE
iravum pagalum vizhittirukkinrEn svAmi innum

My dear kRshNA (kaNNA), I am waiting (kAttirukkirEn) all alone (tanimai tanilE), filled with love (kAdaluDan) (for you). Even now (innum) I keep awake (vizhittirukkirEn) day (padalum) and night (iravum), my Lord (svAmi).

caraNa svara sAhityam 4
pArAi nI oru pozhudum en shol kELAi allal paDugirEn nAthanE
varuvAi taruvAi maNamum nalamum nI anbanE nI ennai kaiviDAmal
kAttiDuvAi krSNa dAsanukku aruL sheyya taruNam idu azhaikkirEn maNIvaNNA

You (nI) please look (pArAi) at me for just one (oru) moment (pozhudu)! Please listen (kELAi) to my (en) words/pleas (Sol)! My lord (nAthanE), I am afflicted (paDugirEn) by distress (allal). My friend (anbanE), you (nI) please come (varuvAi) and grant (taruvAi) me both your hand in marriage (maNamum) and good fortune (nalamum). You (nI) will not let go (viDAmal) of my hands (kai) and protect (kAttiDuvAi) me (ennai). I am calling out (azhaikkirEn) to you, because this (idu) is the moment (taruNam) for you to bless (aruL Seyya) kRshNadAsan (kRshNadAsanukku) [3], oh emerald-hued one (maNivaNNA).

FOOTNOTES
[1] The reference here is to the unending relentlessness with which waves hit the seashore
[2] pAramukham literally means turning one’s face away
[3] kRshNadAsan is the mudra of the composer, Madurai Sri Krishnan
