Vidwan Saketharaman is an eminent disciple of the violin maestro Padmabhushan Vidwan Lalgudi G.Jayaraman. Naturally gifted with a mellifluous voice Saketharaman has been a leading performing artist for many years. He has performed all over India and also in the USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Srilanka and the gulf countries.
Saketharaman has won several awards, noteworthy among which is his winning the Best Vocalist Award from the Music Academy, Chennai for three consecutive years. He is an A Grade artist of AIR. He is a post graduate degree holder in Software Engineering.

In fact both are disciples of Lalgudi Jayaraman.
