It was a contrast to the prev. weekend's fare (TMK) -- just at the opposite end of the spectrum.
I think somebody needs to tell him (AR) -- an overdose of svara exercises in various octaves simply ceases
to be aesthetic.

Where is the Abhishek of 2007-9?

I hope with time sowkhyam appears in his music. Too much acrobatics, IMHO.

Abhishek lacks all sense of sahityam.....so to expect any sowkhyam in his music is asking for the impossible.....

yes he is an ace acrobat....may be he was a trapeze artist reborn do all that with his singing.....

He was an ace percussionist. It is a loss that he put down the kanjira.

Haven't other whiz kids mellowed with age? He has a really good voice. I hope to be able to enjoy his singing in a few years time.
