Had the pleasure of listening to this very nice concert - with an interesting song list , comprising Rare ragams and compositions.
-- The Swarams in Samajavaragamana were very nicely sung - with eduppu progressively in Ni , Sa , Ga , Ma , Da , Ni , and also an apt use of Swaraksharams . Similarly , the Swaram patterns in Begada were sung with a lot of variation , making for interesting listening
-- It is not often that we hear an elaborate Chakravagam . At the end of the detailed alapanai , Sanjay sir sang a hindustani variation for a minute , which made it all the more interesting - A very unique aspect
