1. Perfect sync between the two brothers; Ramkumar's voice is slightly huskier and the manner in which one picks up from where the other lands was very nice.
2. There was neither a starting glitch nor a drop of energy at the end of 3.5 hours.
3. Lo...ng karvais were very beautiful; just a perfectly aligned plain and long sa can never get more enthralling.
4. Had many of my personal favorites: cAmaram, rEvagupti, kApi, kuntalavarali!
5. Long swara phrases in kApi interestingly landed at ppp.
6. Accompaniments supported well.

Yes, they are and of very good quality. Trichur brothers were just class in this one. I guess there was also an Ahiri in the list, which I missed in my first post.
Was listening today TMK's 2009 concert. There was something funny. He attempts a chakkani raja and started alapanai in La..la... syllables to imitate MMI. Probably did not find it comfortable and proceeds to a regular aakaram

nri, btw, I like your review format. It is sort of in between a simple concert list and a multi paragraph review. I think a few others in the forum follow this also. A lot of times people do not have time to provide the full commentary or do not want to do that for various reason but just want to express their reactions, opinions and observations as a list. They all can use your model which should encourage them to write more ( hopefully). I will try that myself one of these days

rshankar, I could not confirm with the organizers, if the recording is on sale or not. And I hope to get a copy for myself in week or two. If it is for your personal listening, I can share it with you.
