I am so happy to know about this event. Sholingapuram is a divyadesam. By the grace of Sri Yoga Narasimhar, I have visited this temple many times, since it is my father's Kuladeivam. The temple truly has powerful vibrations. But a lot has to be done for developing it. Earlier, there were no asbestos sheets to cover heads of devotees while climbing the steps, but now by the kindness of devotees, shed has come up. Drinking water has come up, but More has to be done for making pilgrimage to this temple easier. Some solution for the innumerable monkeys too has to be found out. Wishing the concerts a grand success. May this temple get the funds to develop and make devotees visit and pray to Yoga Narsimhar, Amirthabalavalli Thaayaar and Sri Yoga Anjaneyar with ease. Thanks to Rasikas.org too for spreading the information.

Those innumerable monkeys are harmless little Hanumans. Feed them, don't try to scare them away.

Pilgrimages must not be made easy. There is now talk about putting up a ropeway to lift the people to the top of the hill. Don't let them do it. Walking up the hill is good for one's health.

That tiny little hill at Palani (1000' in height) has multiple mchanical modes of transport now. What for? Why can't people put one foot in front of another and haul their bodies to the top?

I agree that it is good for one's health to walk up the hill but as people get older, it is not as easy as you make it out to be.

I think there is a built-in preference along the lines of what you say that pilgrimages must not be made easy. So even if there is a choice of an easier method, the true believers would take the tougher option as long as they are physically able.
