Wishing Aishwarya and accompanists a very good concert in honoring one of Karnataka's literary greats.
With our having to wait for the videos after the Cleveland Festival, the commentaries from a few of us at Rasikas did not cover the latter part of the festival at all
It was obvious that Aishwarya had a nasty cold on the morning of her performance. She was among some of the vocalists whom the Cleveland weather didn't spare.
Aishwarya usually needs no warming up, with her robust and appealing voice. Her concentration in her singing adds to it. At Cleveland, she took a little time to settle down, but was her usual self by the time she was singing gnAnamosaga rAdA, bad cold or not.
Her SankarAbharaNam was a fitting homage to her great grandmother...
