Query on Va Muruga Va (Begada)

Regarding the last line of the anupallavi in this Begada kriti of Spencer Venugopal:

According to the site karnatik.com the last line is: Theera en vinai deera nee vaa. In D.K. Jayaraman's rendition it sounds to me like Deera en vinai theera nee vaa. In both cases, the meaning of the sentence is not clear to me. I have listed my doubts in both cases below:

Case 1 (according to karnatik.com) - If theera is used as an adjective for vinai ( as in theeradha vinai) and deera means "the valorous one", then the sentence seems incomplete, it will be complete only if a verb requesting Muruga to remove the vinai is added.

Case 2 (according to DKJ rendition) - If theera is the verb meant to request Muruga to remove the vinai, then this verb ending seems unfamiliar to me - theerai or theerayo seems more common.

Can someone clarify please?

I think it is like this. theeraa en vinai means my sin which is never ending. Theera nee vaa means to end the sins, (theerka nee vaa). I do not think it is deera.

I confirm what I have given in my earlier post. Yesterday I heard MS singing the above song and she has sung as Theeraa en vinai theera - not as deera.

Both can be right. Dheera means The Brave one. Poet is calling him,' O brave one, come to ease my problems'. But, Theeraa seems more appropriate- Theeraa en vinai theera or theerka- Theeraa en vinai theera- To relieve my endless problems- ( Theerka seems better than theera, but poets have their choice of words) vaa. I am not a poet or a Tamil scholar, but this sounds good to me.

That does make sense to me. If MS has sung it as thIrA, then that's what it is.

thIrka is right too, but I would think the mind here is preoccupied with 'endless ills', and so the plea--nI vA follows.

The sense is complete here in the poetic sense.

I wonder if it is meant to be "dheeraa...en vinai theera nee vaa". especially with a small pause or sustained note after dheeraa for added effect. Appears more dramatic/poetic IMHO.

If I understand the posting in #13 and #14 correctly, Sri Venugopal has confirmed that it is 'tIrA yen vinai tIra nI vA' - (you) please come (nI vA) so that the endless (tIrA) consequences of my deeds (vinai) may in fact come to an end (tIra).....
