One of the best concert of SRI NEYVELI SANTHANAGOPALAN.

The concert was held at the Seshadripuram Ramanavami festival, Bangalore in the year 1985.
During the Alapana of the Shanmukhapriya ragam, the take off of the alapana was brilliant after a pause [10.45 onwards].
Sri H.K.Venkatram on the violin also played excellently.

The Alapana sancharams were spaced well with long pauses.

I had attended the concert on that day at Bangalore.

Kindly note the special "Karakaruppu" in his voice which adds to a special charm.

The organizer of the festival had specially mentioned that the Krithi “Sri Chamundeeswarim" in the ragam Bilahari by the Composer Chama raja Udayar was heard by him after a decade.

Starting to listen to this lovely shanmukhapriya of NSG's.

You say 1985. He and HKV would have been very young then...
