There used to be a similar thread earlier. May be it was during the 'madras season'. Rasikas used to post about which concerts they plan to attend etc. It was helpful to them to look for fellow members of rasikas. Org. The pleasure of attending a concert with like minded friends is something special.

Yes, we did have such a thread, or threads in fact. It tends to loose momentum outside of December.
In Chennai, it should not be restricted to weekends!
Anyway...
Yesterday I attended a lunchtime concert by Lalgudi Vijaialakshmi, accompanied by Ramkumar . It was at a school for special children, and there was a great ambience. She interacted with them joyfully.
Today I am going to a dhrupad recital at the music academy. Possibly one of the rarest of classical music genres here.
In Chennai, it should not be restricted to weekends!
