Please listen and enjoy this rare Bhajan on Lord Guruvayoorappan, sung by Vidhwan Late Sri. Neyyattinkara Vasudevan, in one of his concerts at New York on 23.04.1994. His deciple Sri. Srivalsa Menon has given the voice support to the vocalist. Smt. T.R.Rukmani is on the violin with Mridangam support by Sri. Kamalakar Rao and Kanjira by P. Satishkumar. This a superb rendition with full of devotion, dedication and bhavam flowing out in the entire song duration. I have given down the full Lyrics which is in the Malayalam Language, traced from a very old edition (1957) of the Book titled " Bhajanavali " in malayalam language published by Sree Ramakrishnahram, Trichur-Kerala. But, no information is available on the composer of this Bhajan song. May be an age old traditional composition. In the audio clip the singer had sung only the early few stanzas and not the full song.

This was a very popular song in the 1970s- a bench mark for patdeep. Apart from NV, many other Kerala singers like P.Leela, Omanakutty, MG Radhakrishnan used to sing this. Thanks for digging this out and giving the link to download.
