The gem of a woman said, that his friendship is enough, she does not want it,then[p]
[he] who has always lived, many times, at her house [a]
Though a letter [informing] that the God of Love,
with his lovely bow has pierced her bosom with
blunt arrows, has been sent,
Though a maiden has been sent to bring him along,
he has asked her[the maiden] to go back[c]

Re: Vani pondu-request for meaning
Should it not be "vinTi" and not vilTi? Many singers change the bindu/anunasika portion of words to a "l" sound for ease in singing but the word itself has the bindu. Also what is the meaning of boDulu? I thought it was ammula podula. ammulapodi means quiver (of arrows).
