Can someone please post the stories referred to by Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar in his kriti 'Yaarukkum Adangatha Neeli' ?
Here are the lines where I think there may be stories associated:
Anupallavi:
Paarul Parabrahmathai adakkiya Shaye : Which story is the composer referring to ?
Charanam:
Paraman Agamthanai paathiyai matrinaal - Ardhanareeswarar
Parandaaman Mugamadhil Pal Vilangetrinaal - Again what story is the composer referring to ?
Siramadhu Arupadave Vidhi thanai thootrinaal - Story of Ganesha ?
Appreciate someone clarifying it. Thanks...

Re: Yaarukkum adangatha Neeli - stories
The same question in this blog is answered by me. Pls check this out....
Parandaman mughamadhil pal vilangetrinal - Assume Kali as Parashakthi. She made Vishnu as Sthithi Kartha. He had to take various animal forms in order to save the Earth. This is because of her Leela. This is Shaktha concept.
Siramadharupadave vidhi thanai thootrinaal - Once upon a time Brahma had 5 heads, like Shiva before Srishti. As he was the only one with the power to create he got pompous and asked Uma Devi to consider him as her husband as her husband doesn't care for her. She refused and when this quarrel was happening, shiva awoke from his Yoga. Seeing the quarrel he punished him by removing one of Bhrama's head. But he got Brahmahathi dosha and the Brahma Kabala refused to get down from Shiva's hand. He carried the Kabalam till Annapooraneshwari donated the rice.
