Awesome list of songs...Thank you, Lji!
Unfortunately, I was not able to attend their concert in NJ...I hope that rasikas who attended will post their review of that concert as well.

Sounds like a perfect concert, with pieces aptly chosen for the Sringeri cultural center's location. I wish I could have been there. I suppose there is no end to my kutcheri avarice.

I have never heard kANa kaN kOdi from the DKJ school. There are so many Sivan classics in that school, but this gem has never crossed my path. That said, the MMI version makes it very daunting for anyone to take this on!

And I am also glad that this brought Prashant out from hibernation.

Likewise.

At some point, we were thinking of a badge for us rasikas to wear to the season. T shirts are practical and wearable IDs, but we women were not for it. If we were to wear a sash ( I know, I know!), what you said just now will be a favorite one for me: there is no end to my kutcheri avarice :)

mahavishnu,
I was thinking bharathi kalai mandram is the location and the sabha holding concerts in toronto. Is this sringeri cultural center location a different place.
Nice to see a vijay review from NA - vijay' paddanthara suddham is indeed there in the song list . Hope more comes- he has a fairly long tour in NA.

Bharathi Kala Manram is the Organization. It holds all of its concerts at the Shringeri Cultural Centre hall.
