Photos/pictures of past music maestros

I have a request to all rasikas.

If any one has reasonably high resolution photographs or pictures of carnatic music maestros (eg: Sangita kalanidhis who are no more) kindly send them to me through my email. I think it is possible to access it from this mail. There is an envelope sign on the right side panel which will direct mails to me. When printed in a size of around 5 inches x 5 inches it should not have any grains. These pictures from the web are typically very small.

(Aryakudi, Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer, Chembai, Semmangudi, Madurai Mani Iyer, DKP, MS, MLV, Maharajapuram santhanam, GNB, Palghat Mani Iyer and so on) If there are any copyright issues on some photos, please avoid them.

Long back there was an interesting thread where lot of vintage photos were shared . You were not registered as part of forum then

The photos can be saved by right clicking on the image and doing save as image .

Thanks Rajeshnat. It gave a wonderful opportunity to see all those highly valuable pictures.

But for the purpose of printing, the resolution is probably not good enough, as most of them scanned from magazines, newspapers. Last year I struggled to get a picture of Sri. MMI for the purpose of garlanding on the occasion of his centenary celebrations. But finally we managed something!
