I was reading the New York Times article "Is Music The Key To Success?" last week and noticed that the same article was republished by The Hindu today. Actually, I had republished this NY TImes article on the Music Student website http://raagabox.com last week, you can read the it here at - http://indiangamer.com/is-music-the-key-to-success/ and some reader opinions here at - http://indiangamer.com/are-music-lesson ... o-success/
The author discusses how music can be a critical factor in our success. There are many arguments about whether or not music is important for someone's success in life, there are a few who argue that music must be pursued for the sake of creative expression and should not be mingled with career and success. I am a big supporter of music students pursuing the art form for life not just for a living. I truly believe that Music must be pursued as a creative expression and outlet of ones own song.
What do you think about this? Please share your thoughts.

Re: Is Music The Key To Success?
Learn music for its own sake; accept gracefully what comes as by product for singing what one learnt.
