Just heard 'tillai ambalathAnai' in suraTi and the lovely tillAnA in khamAs by the other Suguna (Purushotham).
Classicism brimming with liveliness. The disciple (?) did very well too.

There were two disciples, Aishwarya Sankar and Brinda Manickavachagam. Another good singer Viday Kayanaraman is also her disciple.

Right! Vidya Kalyanaraman I was thinking of, but she was not there. Brinda's music I'm fond of, and she was not visible that much, sitting in the back, playing the tambura.

I didn't know of Aishwarya Shankar until now.
