I guessed that much from the rendition by Rajkumar Bharathy. It sounds a nice raga vis-a-vis the famous Mahati of BMK.
It has no shade of Hamsadhwani.
Wish there were more compositions and renditions!

(nannu = me. brOchuTaku= to save. neeku+anumaanamaa. neeku=to you. anumaanamaa = doubt
naa pai = on me. nEramEmi=nEramu+Emi nEramu=fault or crime. Emi=what. balukumaa = speak out.

kanna vaaru = strangers /any persons (kanna=one meaning is any or anything /anyone that is seen; vaaru=those) vaarulu+aasrayinchaleka. aasrayinchalEka =unable to seek protection (aasrayamu=protection; aasrayinchu=seek protection; lEka=unable to)
kattupaatu = rules & regulations /system . chesi - having done. kAchiyunna= i am waiting /looking forward to.

prANamu+osagi = giving /getting life (to).

ghana=great. dAnavAdula =demons & others. (na)+aNaga chesi= having suppressed
ghruNamu+osagi= giving compassion. sri balakrushNuDai = being Balakrishna.
